[04-11-2023] Stanislaus County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash in Modesto Led to One Death, One Hospitalized

A multi-vehicle crash led to one death and one hospitalized in Modesto on Tuesday evening, April 11, 2023.

According to the Modesto Police Department, the crash happened around 8:00 p.m. between Sherwood Avenue and West Rumble Road.

A 22-year-old driver struck another driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, then proceeded to hit two more vehicles before coming to a complete stop.

The 22-year-old victim was identified as Arturo E., who later died because of a gunshot wound.

The other driver, whose injuries are not yet determined, was transported to a nearby hospital.

Authorities are investigating Esquer’s gunshot wounds and the crash that transpired.
