[04-12-2022] Humboldt County, CA – Pedestrian Crash Injures Two People in Arcata

A pedestrian was struck and trapped underneath a vehicle in Arcata on Tuesday, April 12, 2022

It happened around 1:00 p.m. in front of Wildberries Market near the crosswalk of G street in Arcata.

The vehicle reportedly struck two people, one of them becoming trapped underneath the car.

The person trapped was eventually freed and taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The woman was taken to Mad River Hospital, No update has been given yet on the victim’s condition.

As per Brian Hoffman of the Arcata Police Department, the victim is recovering well.

One lane on G Street is blocked as officers investigate the accident.
