[04-15-2023] Fresno County, CA – One Dead, Two Injured After Rollover Crash on Interstate 5

One person died, and two were injured in a fatal rollover crash in Fresno County on Saturday morning, April 15, 2023.

A California Highway Patrol (CHP) report stated that the accident occurred before 1 a.m. at Interstate 5 and Lassen Avenue.

As per the report, the vehicle’s driver reportedly crashed into the center divide, resulting in the car rolling over several times.

All three individuals inside the car were ejected from the vehicle. It was determined that the driver, a man in his early twenties, was pronounced dead at the accident scene. The two passengers, women in their early 20s, needed medical treatment.

At this point, DUI is not considered a factor in the crash, which the CHP is investigating. Currently, the names of those involved have not been released, pending notification of their families.
