[04-16-2022] San Diego County, CA – One Person Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on State Route 79

The California Highway Patrol reported that one person was killed in a collision involving two motorcycles on State Route 79The California Highway Patrol reported that one person was killed in a collision involving two motorcycles on State Route 79 at the Chambers Park campground parking lot on Saturday, April 16, 2022.

According to a CHP incident log, the collision occurred at 10:51 a.m. Saturday near Lake Cuyamaca.

The Medical Examiner’s Office of San Diego County was dispatched to the scene.

At 11:44 a.m., CHP officers were still on the scene gathering information about the crash.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident Statistics
