A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck on East Los Angeles Avenue in Somis on Monday morning, April 18, 2022.

[04-18-2022] Ventura County, CA - Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Somis Results in Death of One ManAccording to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred at 9:12 a.m. near the intersection of East Los Angeles Avenue, also known as Highway 118, and Bradley Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle collided with a white Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Authorities said the male motorcyclist died at the scene. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an investigation.

No further identifying information is available.

Due to the crash, lanes in both directions on Los Angeles Avenue were narrowed down to one-way traffic control, according to the California Department of Transportation.

Expect delays in the area, according to motorists.

The CHP is still investigating the crash.
