[04-20-2023] One Bike Rider Injured After Hit-and-Run Accident in Point LomaOne bike rider, identified as Tristan G., was injured after a hit-and-run accident at Point Loma in San Diego on Thursday afternoon, April 20, 2023.

According to a social media post by Gonzalez, he was riding his bike on Catalina Boulevard when the driver ran him over around 4:50 pm.

The victim is a former police officer and a board member of their high school mountain biking league.

Currently, the San Diego Police Department is looking for the suspect and investigating the accident. The suspect, a white male between the ages of 35 and 45, was seen driving a smaller white pickup truck with a regular cab and untinted windows. Also, he wore a lighter-colored baseball cap.

The victim and the authorities are urging people to help search the area and locate the suspect.
