[04-21-2023] Fresno County, CA – One Dead, Three Injured After Fatal Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Friant Road

A 42-year-old man died, and three passengers were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Fresno County on Friday evening, April 21, 2023.

According to California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred after 7:30 p.m., approximately two miles north of the merging point of Willow Avenue into Friant.

As per the report, the vehicle involved in the accident went off the road through a barbed wire fence, rolled several times, and came to a stop.

Sadly, the 42-year-old driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The three female passengers were identified as a 32-year-old from Coarsegold, a 29-year-old from Visalia, and a 34-year-old from Fresno.

The two passengers suffered major injuries, and the other was minor. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, it is unclear what caused the crash, and it is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident. The investigation into the tragedy is ongoing.
