[04-24-2022] Sacramento County, CA - Pedestrian Crash Along Interstate 5 Results in One FatalityOne person was killed in a fatal collision along Interstate 5 on Sunday, April 24, 2022.

According to a South Sacramento California Highway Patrol spokesperson, the collision occurred shortly after midnight along Interstate 5 near Florin Road.

The CHP received a report in the first lane of I-5 north of Florin.

According to authorities, the pedestrian was struck by a gray Acura TL and died as a result of the collision.

The driver remained at the scene and was not found to be intoxicated.

The pedestrian has not been identified at this time.
