[04-27-2023] Reckless Driver Arrested on DUI Charges After Collision with Two Vehicles in Fontana, Leaving One InjuredOne individual was injured in a DUI-related pursuit that ended in a crash in Fontana on Thursday afternoon, April 27, 2023.

According to the Fontana Police Department, the incident occurred at about 3:49 p.m. in the Sierra and Arrow Boulevard area in the city’s downtown section.

The driver, suspected of being under the influence and driving recklessly, was reported to the authorities. A brief chase ensued upon stopping the driver, which ended in a collision with two other vehicles.

Daniel M., 33, the suspect, was apprehended and taken to the hospital for medical clearance before being booked on suspicion of DUI.

One person from another vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

The investigation is ongoing.
