[05-07-2025] Calaveras County, CA – One Killed, Three Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 26 Near Farris Drive in Valley Springs

One person was killed and three others were seriously injured following a head-on crash involving multiple vehicles on Highway 26 near Farris Drive in Valley Springs, Calaveras County, on Wednesday afternoon, May 7, 2025.

According to Calaveras Consolidated Fire, the crash involved at least three vehicles, and one of the vehicles veered off the roadway. The exact circumstances leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Authorities stated that all individuals involved were between the ages of 14 and 20. The three injured victims were transported to hospitals by air and ground ambulance for treatment of serious injuries.
