One unidentified person was killed after a deadly crash involving a box truck on Highway 101 on Friday night, May 13, 2022.
The collision happened at approximately 7:27 p.m. on the northbound side of Highway 101 North Access Road on-ramp.
A Honda reportedly tried to make a U-turn across two double lines and crashed into a box truck that was entering the on-ramp.
The 60-year-old man driving the Honda was not using his seatbelt properly during the accident. He was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead the next day.
No other injuries were reported. Additional information about the crash is unavailable at the moment.
Local authorities are further investigating the case.
