Two people were transported with injuries following a head-on crash in Valley Springs, Calaveras County, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

According to the Calaveras Consolidated Fire Department, the collision occurred on Highway 26 near Hogan Dam Road.

Authorities have not disclosed the extent of the victims’ injuries. However, officials confirmed that one of the patients was transported to a trauma center.
