[05-15-2022] Santa Clara County, CA - Two-Vehicle Collision in San Martin Results in One DeathA 69-year-old man identified as Lorenzo C. was killed following a deadly two-vehicle crash in San Martin on Sunday afternoon, May 15, 2022.

The accident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Center Avenue near East Middle Street in San Martin.

A southbound 2018 Chevrolet Malibu traveled on Center Avenue when it crashed into an eastbound 2001 Ford F150 on East Middle Street.

The 2001 Ford F150 allegedly did not stop for a red light at the intersection before the crash. The occupants inside the F150 were ejected from their vehicle.

Unfortunately, the Ford driver was killed in the mishap. Meanwhile, the Malibu driver and a passenger in the Ford sustained major injuries and were taken to Regional Medical Care for treatment.

A 12-year-old girl was also hospitalized after sustaining minor injuries. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
