Macario H., 49, an Apple Valley resident and a pedestrian, was killed following a traffic collision in Barstow on Tuesday evening, May 30, 2023.
According to the Barstow Police Department, the incident happened on the Interstate 40 off-ramp and E. Main Street at around 9:42 p.m.
The authorities have provided no information on the specifics of the incident.
Herrera survived the collision but died at Barstow Community Hospital.
It is uncertain whether drugs or alcohol contributed to this tragedy.
