[06-03-2022] Kern County, CA – One Person Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Merced Avenue

One person was injured after a traffic collision at Merced Avenue on Friday morning, June 3, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s Traffic Incident Information Page, the crash occurred at 10:44 a.m. on Zerker Road at Merced Avenue.

The crash reportedly invovled a semi-truck and a sedan.

According to officials, at least one person suffered minor injuries.

Officials are working to clear the roadway after a semi-truck carrying almond hulls flipped on its side and spilled its cargo.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
