A 61-year-old man identified as Isidro M. was killed following a deadly head-on traffic crash in Moreno Valley on Friday afternoon, June 3, 2022.
The accident happened at approximately 3:37 p.m. at the intersection of Lasselle Street and Cooper Cove Lane in Moreno Valley.
A southbound white Toyota Sienna was traveling on Lasselle when the driver veered into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a northbound Ford Escape.
The 61-year-old man was found unresponsive inside his white Toyota Sienna. He was rushed to Riverside University Health Systems Medical Center, but he could not survive his injuries and was later pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported. The Ford driver sustained minor injuries but did not get medical treatment.
Local authorities are further investigating the case.
