[06-04-2022] Humboldt County, CA – One Person Injured in Bicycle Accident in Eureka

One person was injured after a bicycle accident in Eureka on Saturday night, June 4, 2022.

According to preliminary information, the crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. near 7th and E Streets.

According to initial reports, the collision involved a bicyclist and a van. The cyclist was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

While crews worked at the scene, the left lane of 7th Street at E Street was blocked for a time.

The identity of the injured victim has not been disclosed at this time.
