[06-10-2022] San Francisco County, CA – Fatal Train Crash Near South Aquatic Park Results in One Death

One pedestrian was struck and killed by a Capitol Corridor commuter train in Berkeley on Friday morning, June 10, 2022.

According to police, the fatal crash occurred at 6:52 a.m. near the South Aquatic Park parking lot.

The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been disclosed.

There are no other details available.

The Amtrak police is still investigating the crash.
