A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed in the Edgemont area on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol and the Riverside County Fire Department, the fatality was reported at about 6:15 a.m. at the Alessandro Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-215.
The identity of the deceased victim has not yet been disclosed.
Information on the identity of the fatally injured person was not immediately available.
The on-ramp was closed while an investigation was conducted.
