A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Clovis on Saturday night, June 14, 2025.
According to the Clovis Police Department, officers responded around 10:40 p.m. to the intersection of Villa Avenue and 9th Street following a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.
Responding officers found the victim at the scene with critical injuries. The man was transported to the intensive care unit of a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities said the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police confirmed that alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
