[06-15-2022] Kern County, CA – Former Tehachapi City Council Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Rosamond

According to the Kern County Coroner’s Office, 45-year-old James Clinton D., a former Tehachapi resident and 2018 Tehachapi City Council candidate, died in a head-on collision in Rosamond on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 10:40 p.m. on Rosamond Boulevard at 46th Street West.

A Tesla and a Chevy Blazer were involved in an accident.

Davies was said to be in the Tesla as a passenger. He and the driver, 38-year-old Alex C., died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
