[06-16-2023] Glenn County, CA – Three People Died, Another Injured Following Single-Vehicle Crash in Willows

Three people died while another was injured following a single-vehicle crash in Willows on Friday afternoon, June 16, 2023.

According to the Willows Fire Department, the fatal crash happened around 4:00 p.m. along northbound Interstate 5 near County Road 57.

A 59-year-old male driver of a gray 2007 Toyota Sienna was traveling with three other individuals when he made an unsafe turn. This caused the vehicle to go off the road, across the They rolled over and stopped at the vehicle’s wheels.

The driver, a 48-year-old passenger, and a 49-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. A 50-year-old passenger named Johnny W. sustained minor injuries and was transported to Enloe Medical Center.

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the fatal crash.
