A person was killed, and at least three others were injured after a suspected DUI multi-vehicle collision in Pasadena on Sunday morning, June 18, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at a stoplight near the 110 Freeway and Glenarm Street at around 1:00 a.m.
Authorities tried pulling the suspect over after observing that the suspect might be driving under the influence, but the suspect drove away from the officers. The pursuit ended in tragedy when the driver collided with two other vehicles waiting at a stoplight.
One person died, while at least three others sustained minor and major injuries.
The deceased’s identity is being withheld until notification of the next of kin.
