[06-20-2022] San Joaquin County, CA – 22-Year-Old Man Killed, 19-Year-Old Injured in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Tracy

According to Tracy police, a 22-year-old Manteca man died and a 19-year-old passenger was injured after colliding with a semi-truck on Monday, June 20, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred around 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Patterson Pass and Schulte roads.

The 22-year-old attempted to turn but lost control, according to police.

The vehicle then struck a semi-truck and trailer that were parked. According to the police, the 22-year-old driver and 19-year-old passenger had to be freed by the South County Fire Authority.

According to police, the 22-year-old succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The 19-year-old was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
