[07-02-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Pedestrian Woman Killed in Hit-And-Run Collision in Arlington HeightsAccording to the Los Angeles Police Department, a pedestrian woman was struck and killed in a crosswalk in Arlington Heights Saturday, July 2, 2022.

According to LAPD, the crash transpired around 2:20 a.m. at the intersection of Pico Boulevard and Wilton Place.

The driver initially stopped the car, got out, got back in, and then, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, he or she drove off, leaving the woman behind.

Companies did have security cameras that recorded the incident.

The woman, identified by family members as waitress ShawnKel W., 27, is seen in that video walking through the crosswalk while wearing white.

At the scene, the victim was pronounced dead.
