[07-02-2022] Madera County, CA - One Person Injured In Two-Vehicle Collison on Highway 41A California Highway Patrol officer identified as Sgt. Tim R. was injured after a two-vehicle collision in Madera County Saturday night, July 2, 2022.

The accident happened at approximately 6:30 pm on Highway 41, southbound near Coaresgold, north of road 415.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. However, the Ford F150 turned into the driveway and didn’t notice the officer’s vehicle approaching. According to Tim R. the truck was still stuck in his vehicle although he slammed the brakes.

The officer had major wounds and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital while the other driver complained of pain.

According to the officer, there were no involved drugs or alcohol.
