Two individuals died after a collision involving a motorcycle and vehicle in Fresno County on Tuesday evening, July 4, 2023.
The incident occurred at the Chestnut and Clinton Avenues intersection, as reported by the officers who responded to the crash at around 11:00 p.m.
According to the report, the vehicle’s driver struck the motorcycle carrying a man and a woman believed to be in their 30s. Both individuals on the motorcycle were wearing helmets.
Tragically, one passenger died at the scene, while the other victim was taken to a local hospital, where they succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.
The authorities state that the car’s driver is cooperating with the investigation. They do not suspect alcohol or drugs have played a role in the incident.
