[07-04-2023] Riverside County, CA – Male Pedestrian Killed Following Pickup Truck Collision in Moreno Valley

A pedestrian was killed in a car crash involving a pickup truck in Moreno Valley on Tuesday morning, July 4, 2023.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred near the Iris Avenue and Perris Boulevard intersection around 6:53 a.m.

The collision involved a black Dodge pickup truck; however, it is uncertain what events led to the incident, pending an investigation.

The pedestrian was still alive when officers arrived at the scene. They performed life-saving procedures and brought the victim to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver was reported to have remained at the scene. Drugs or alcohol were not considered to be a factor in this incident.
