Multiple individuals were possibly injured after being rescued from a sedan that collided with a sign pole on 405 Freeway in Los Angeles on Monday morning, July 10, 2023.
The incident was reported to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) at 2:12 a.m., occurring at the Getty Center Drive junction on the southbound San Diego Freeway.
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded to the incident and employed hydraulic tools to free the three individuals trapped in the wreckage.
Subsequently, responders transported the individuals to hospitals. Information about their genders, ages, or conditions was not disclosed.
As a result of the rescue operation, the two right lanes and the off-ramp were temporarily closed, but the roadway was cleared and reopened by 3:29 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
