[07-12-2022] Placer County, CA – One Person Killed, Three Children Injured in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Foresthill

According to the California Highway Patrol, a head-on collision between two vehicles resulted in one fatality and numerous injuries in Foresthill on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

The crash occurred on a Tuesday at Foresthill Road and Portofino Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an MDX SUV and a Toyota Camry were both involved in the collision.

When police arrived on the scene, they discovered the Camry’s only occupant, the driver, dead.

The SUV driver and her three kids were all injured and taken to the hospital.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
