[07-14-2023] Major Injury Reported After Multiple-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101Major injury was reported following a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo County on Friday afternoon, July 14, 2023.

According to Caltrans, the collision occurred at around 4:10 p.m. in the northbound lane of Highway 101 near the North Tefft Street offramp.

Based on the report, two or three vehicles collided, causing traffic on Highway 101. One of the vehicles was overturned, blocking one of the northbound lanes.

The collision caused a significant injury, but the number of people involved and the extent of their injuries remain unclear.

The California Highway Patrol units were en route to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
