[07-14-2026] Orange County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed After Collision With Vehicle in Santa Ana

A 43-year-old man, identified as Calvin W., of Costa Mesa, was killed after being ejected from his motorcycle during a crash in Santa Ana on Tuesday morning, July 14, 2026.

According to the Santa Ana Police, the crash was reported just after 7 a.m. at the intersection of First Street and Center Street.

Officers found the rider lying in the roadway with significant upper-body trauma. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators reported that the victim was riding eastbound on First Street when a car traveling alongside him changed lanes, causing a collision. The rider was ejected from his motorcycle during the impact.

The other driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police indicated that the driver did not appear to be impaired.

The investigation remains ongoing.
