On Monday evening, an unidentified pedestrian was hit and injured by a car in the San Fernando Valley on July 18.
The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 7700 block of Balboa Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The victim, who was carrying a cart of various items scattered across Balboa Boulevard as a result of the collision, is thought to be a transient.
The LAFD took the patient to a nearby hospital.
The car’s driver was present at the scene.
The Los Angeles Police Department is looking into the incident.
