According to authorities, a 25-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
According to initial reports, the 25-year-old woman was going eastbound when her dog pulled her into North Park street while out for a walk. She was hit by a southbound 2003 BMW Z4, driven by a 61-year-old man.
Emergency crews rushed the woman to a nearby hospital, where it was discovered that she had a brain bleed, fractures to her left tibia and fibula, and “various lacerations and abrasions.”
Her injuries were deemed potentially fatal. There were no other injuries as a result of the incident. At this time, the victim’s identity has not been revealed.
The crash is still being investigated.
