[07-21-2023] Kern County, CA – Bakersfield Multi-Vehicle Collision Injures At Least One Person

At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Bakersfield on Friday afternoon, July 21, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident on southbound Highway 99 and Panama Lane around 2:00 a.m.

It is still unknown what led to the accident, but it reportedly involved six to eight cars. At least one person was hurt and has been transported to a hospital. There was no disclosure of the identities of the people involved.

While crews treated anyone injured and cleared vehicles from the road, traffic was slowed between White and Panama.

Authorities are still conducting their investigation.
