[07-22-2022] Los Angeles County, CA- Driver Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Collision in Downey

According to authorities, a driver of a sedan was sent to a nearby hospital after figuring in a two-vehicle collision on Friday. July 22, 2022.

The traffic accident happened near Old River School Rd and Hondo St. When responders arrived on the scene, they discovered two severely damaged vehicles. One of the vehicles involved was a pick-up truck with extensive rear-end damage. The second vehicle was a large sedan that appeared to have sustained the most fire damage.

According to the responders, the sedan’s driver had to be gently extricated from the vehicle and was transported from the ground to a gurney via backboard and then to a nearby hospital. The incident’s cause is being investigated.
