[07-22-2023] One Man Injured After Allegedly Being Struck by Vehicle in RichmondA man was injured after allegedly being struck by a vehicle in Richmond on Saturday morning, July 22, 2023.

The Richmond Police Department responded to the Rydin Road and Central Avenue intersection by 1:45 a.m.

The local authorities were fired upon by illegal high-tech fireworks launched by the illegal sideshow participants as they were trying to disperse the sideshow consisting of about 150 vehicles.

Following the dispersal of the crowd and vehicles, they found the body of an unconscious male on the curb. The victim’s bodily injuries were consistent with someone hit by a vehicle. The man was taken to a local trauma center for treatment.

There was no disclosure of the identity of the victim.

The Traffic Unit, which is still investigating, has made no arrests.
