[07-22-2023] Santa Clara County, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Caltrain in Caltrain Station

One person died after being struck by a train in Santa Clara County on Saturday morning, July 22, 2023.

The accident occurred north of the Santa Clara Caltrain station before 11:00 a.m.

According to the report, southbound train #630 struck and killed a person.

Following the incident, twelve passengers boarded the train. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.

Train service in the vicinity has been halted, and emergency personnel are currently at the scene.

The identity of the deceased individual remains unknown as the investigation continues.
