[07-23-2022] Alameda County, CA – 45-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in a Car Crash in Hayward

According to Hayward police, a 45-year-old man was struck by a sedan at Tennyson Road and Dickens Avenue on Saturday, July 23, 2022.

According to the press release, Hayward police responded around 9:30 p.m. to the intersection.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

The driver was not hurt and remained at the scene. Officials believe alcohol did not contribute to the collision.

The case remains under investigation.
