[07-23-2023] Mendocino County, CA – Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash in Ukiah Hospitalized One Person

One person was hospitalized after a fiery two-vehicle crash in Ukiah on Sunday morning, July 23, 2023.

The local authorities and firefighters responded to the accident near Highway 101 and State Route 253 at about 10:21 a.m.

According to reports, a silver truck collided with a red sedan. Before the incident, both vehicles were driving erratically. Within five minutes of the collision, one vehicle rolled and caught fire, spreading to nearby grass.

The Adventist Health Ukiah Valley personnel requested an air ambulance to transport a patient to a local hospital. There is no information about the vehicle the victim was riding in.

The identities and conditions of the people involved were not disclosed. The firefighters responded to the scene, and the fire was put out by 11:18 a.m.

Authorities are still conducting their investigation.
