[07-23-2023] 34-Year-Old Woman Died After Being Struck by Vehicle in Huntington BeachA 34-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car in Huntington Beach on Sunday evening, July 23, 2023.

The Huntington Beach Police Department’s stated that officers responded to a traffic collision on Beach Boulevard, north of Williams Drive, around 11:00 p.m.

Tragically the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver responsible for the accident was an 18-year-old female from Upland, driving a 2019 Hyundai Kona in the northbound far left lane when the collision happened.

The driver of the Hyundai cooperated with authorities and remained at the scene, as per the police statement.

Impairment was not a contributing factor in the accident.

The investigation is ongoing.
