One person died, and another was injured following a head-on collision on Highway 138 in Hesperia on Sunday morning, July 23, 2023.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident, which took place at 4:18 a.m. near Horsethief Canyon Road.
Based on an initial CHP report, a Chevrolet Camaro and a Mercedes sedan sustained significant front-end damage.
Following the incident, one person was transported to Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville.
The coroner’s office has not disclosed the deceased victim’s identity, and there is no available information on the condition of the injured individual.
