[07-24-2022] Fresno County, CA - 56-Year-Old Pedestrian Woman Killed in Hit-And-Run Collision on Tulare StreetA 56-year-old woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on Tulare Street in Fresno Sunday night, July 24, 2022.

According to the Fresno police, the crash occurred just before 9:00 p.m., traveling eastbound on Tulare near Eighth Street.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Diana H. of Fresno.

When Fresno police officers came across cars stopped in the road on Tulare near Eighth Street, they were on patrol. Hernandez was lying in the road when they swung around the stopped cars. Before Fresno Fire and EMS arrived, they provided first aid.

Hernandez was declared dead at the scene after becoming unconscious.

Lt. Sean Biggs of the Fresno Police Department claims that no eyewitnesses are available at this time. They don’t know anything about what happened.

The collision is still under investigation by the Fresno police.
