[07-24-2022] Tuolumne County, CA - One Person Dead in Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 108One man was killed in a deadly two-vehicle collision along Highway 108 in Tuolumne County Sunday evening, July 24, 2022.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash transpired just after 5:00 p.m. on the west side of Highway 108.

According to Sgt. Adam Croxton, a 2002 Mitsubishi Mirage, was traveling west when it veered over the double yellow lines of the highway and collided with a 2006 Lexus ES 330.

According to Sgt, the driver of the Mitsubishi, who was only identified as a man, died as a result of his injuries. Croxton. The driver of the Lexus, a 72-year-old man, suffered serious injuries.

It appears that the Mitsubishi driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision, he continued. At this time, the Mitsubishi driver is unidentified.
