[07-28-2022] San Bernardino County, California- 2 People Injured after Two-Car Crash in Victorville

According to authorities, two people were injured in a rear-end collision of two cars in Victorville early Thursday morning, July 28, 2022.

According to preliminary information, the two-vehicle collision occurred around 4:10 a.m. at the intersection of Hook Blvd and Amargosa Road.

The accident involved a white 2017 GMC Arcadia SUV and a silver Kia Forte where one vehicle collided with the other from behind.

When emergency personnel arrived, they began chest compressions on one of the drivers, and the other had cuts to the head. The man had life-threatening injuries and was transported from the hospital to a trauma center.

As crews worked at the scene, the intersection was closed, and traffic was rerouted for a few hours.

The crash is still being investigated.
