A 68-year-old pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Clairemont Mesa, San Diego, late Friday evening, July 28, 2023.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash happened around 11:28 p.m. in the 6800 block of Balboa Avenue.
A 21-year-old Dodge driver was heading west and struck the pedestrian crossing the street. The victim was transported to a local hospital with lacerations to the face and multiple fractures.
Information on both the driver and the victim has yet to be released. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the crash.
