[07-30-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Women Seriously Injured in a Multi-Vehicle Crash in Newhall

Two women were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Newhall on Saturday, July 30, 2022.

The 5-vehicle crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the Wiley Canyon Road and Lyons Avenue junction.

One woman was momentarily trapped inside her silver four-door sedan until firefighters rescued her. Her injuries were unknown, but she was conscious following the accident.

Another woman, holding her left arm and wearing a neck brace, was also taken from her red Hyundai SUV. This woman was likewise aware and appeared to be in good condition.

They were taken to the hospital.

Three vehicles had minor damage, while the silver four-door sedan and the red SUV were seriously damaged.

The accident’s cause and the injuries suffered by the people involved were still unknown.
