The train coming from southbound crashed into the pedestrian around 2:30 p.m. near Main Street.
The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries that are currently unknown.
The surrounding area and train tracks were closed for about one hour. Train service resumed at 3:35 p.m.
Caltrain said there were approximately 72 passengers on board. None of them were reported to be injured.
The cause of the collision is yet to be determined. The crash is still under investigation.
