[07-31-2023] One Person Hospitalized After Exposure to Unknown Chemical in ChatsworthOne person was hospitalized after exposure to an unknown chemical in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, on Monday morning, July 31, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident happened in a two-story commercial building in the 9300 block of North De Soto Avenue.

About 100 people were evacuated from the building after an odor from an unknown chemical was reported.

The paramedics assessed four patients, and one was transported to a local hospital. The victim’s current condition remains unknown.

The authorities have not released any further details on the incident.
