[08-02-2023] 55-Year-Old Motorcyclist Died Following Pickup Truck Collision Near VisaliaA 55-year-old male motorcyclist died in the hospital after colliding with a pickup truck near Visalia on Wednesday evening, August 2, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Avenue 328 and Road 112 just after 10:00 p.m.

The motorcyclist was traveling on one side of Avenue 328 while the pickup truck was traveling on the other. When the 38-year-old driver turned into Road 112, he crossed the rider’s path, causing the rider to crash into the side of the pickup truck.

The victim, a Visalia resident, was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

No information was released regarding the identities of the people involved, pending an investigation.
